As a studio teacher, Drake maintains an active studio, both University and Private. Students have won numerous competitions across Michigan and the United States including NATS National Student Competition and National Hal Leonard Art Song Competitions. Students have been accepted at many major schools of music, including Cincinnati Conservatory, Eastman School of Music, Indiana School of Music, Boston Conservatory, and many others.
