Drake has a busy next few months. Upcoming events include a Britten Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings, a recital of Musical Theater music, The Creation, and Drake's first Rodolfo in La Boheme.
Drake recently began a collaboration with Guitarist Bret Hoag. Their performance of the Benjamin Britten Songs from the Chinese served as a beginning for a recital that will include Argento's Letters from Composers and a world premiere by Canadian Composer Michael James Park. Drake had a wonderful concert of the Britten Serenade for Tenor, Horn and Strings with the Oakland Chamber Orchestra. This marks the third time Drake has had the joy of performing this piece, and the second time with Detroit Symphony Orchestra's Corbin Wagner on the French Horn. Drake will perform the piece again in Febuary with the Adrian Symphony, this time with Andrew Pelletier.
Drake is excited to join composer Terry Herald for his annual holiday concert. Drake will be performing origianal Herald arrangement for diverse instrumentation. Drake will also be duetting with a sign interpreter.
